Works well, except the blade lock
These do a good job, after trying a lot of different pruners. However, the blade lock is very hard to use. I've ended up just leaving it open and keeping the pruners in a sheath. Maybe there's something I'm missing, but I looked on the website and on Google and didn't find any suggestions.

Anvil pruner
This pruner is absolutely amazing. Bought it a year ago and it cuts like it is new. Superior sharp cuts of branches or small plants. It handles everything. All the previous bypass pruners from box stores are always going bad, not springing back or dull. The anvil primer is a jem and so much more for such a little cost.

Love the look
I found this anvil pruner online while searching for a replacement. I loved the professional look, so I decided to give it a try. This tool is SLICK! What a clean cut! I just completed 3.5 hours of Spring pruning to clear out the dead/dry branches and stems in my yard and I really enjoyed using it - my palms don’t hurt, my wrists don’t ache and I feel like my pruning looks like it was done by a pro. Very lightweight and comfortable to use. Another cool feature - the tool can easily adjust to accommodate different hand sizes, so my 80 yr old mom/gardener was able to try it out for a few snips and had no issues being able to make a clean cut. I feel like this was a great purchase.

Better choice
The adjustable hand size also limits your cutting radius. But if you need a bigger cut you can always adjust it to bigger. They have a ridged bottom which helps to grip the branch while cutting. The blade is sharp and cites easily. They lock closed for easy storage. They are a better choice than those pruners found in box store that are orange and black. I like them.

Great Pruners
These are great pruners, sometimes you don' need them to open up so much especially when clipping smaller things. You have a slider on the side that lets you adjust the opening to your needs. These are also very comfortable and don't hurt your hands, nice soft handles. I like that the spring is inside rather than those weird silver things that look like they will pop in your face. I also like that you can sharpen these because the switch lets you open then enough to get a sharpener in there and the other side is rubber so you don't have to worry about two blades. These also have a small hole for hooking on a wall or tool board.
