    Great Camp Saw

Posted by Murdock on 13th Apr 2024

I use these saws for wilderness pack in horse trips. You can count on there being downfall over the trail and these saws can cut through a 10" tree in minutes. Sharp, light weight, tough enough not to bend and kink on the forward stroke, nice handle. Worth the price! And cheaper here than on Amazon!

    Love it

Posted by Hawaii on 1st Nov 2022

I used the Woodland Tools Co.'s Super Duty 18-inch D-handle saw to trim some branches off a tree in my yard. The saw has jagged (alternating) teeth that cut in a pulling direction. The teeth are wickedly sharp, and I'd highly recommend using the blade guard that comes with the saw when not in use, and wearing gloves to prevent tearing/cutting your skin. This seems to be a high-quality, easy to use, and effective saw, and I expect it will last longer than I do. With a Forever guarantee, I might just find out! Love it!

    Right tool for the job

Posted by N. Cog on 1st Nov 2022

We had some late snow that brought down a few decent sized limbs. The one in my photo was healthy - full of leaves that took on too much weight. It's been down a few weeks, and drying some, but I'd been putting off breaking it up with my general tooth saw. This one is bigger than I realized, and made the job very easy. My attached photos are 1 minute apart, and that includes a little phone fiddling, and no rush or sweat on my part. My cut is about 4.5" diameter. It's clearly the right tool for this job. The saw includes a simple plastic guard for the teeth that slides on and off easily.
