Worth the investment
Woodland Tools 11.52-in Carbon steel Multipurpose garden hand tool I was initially thinking there was no way some gears/teeth would make a difference with these things. However, they actually work very well and cut branches much thicker and more easily than anything I've used before. The combination of the gear mechanism and non-stick cutting blades works well to make my yard work much easier. I can use these much longer than my other shears without experiencing fatigue due to the gear action. A lifetime guarantee is a big bonus. Donating 1% to the "For the planet" program is another plus. I was surprised that they didn't include any care instructions on the packaging, because once I lubricated all the pivot points, the action was much smoother and freer.
