Common questions
What size branches can it cut?
The bypass pruner head cuts branches up to 1-1/8 inches thick. For bigger limbs, the pruning saw blade cuts up to 4 inches.
How high can it reach?
The fiberglass pole extends from 7.5 feet up to 14 feet, so you can reach high branches from the ground instead of climbing a ladder.
How does the cutting head work?
A rope pulls a bypass blade with a non-stick coating through the branch. A cord management system keeps the rope tidy, and the slim head fits into tight spots in the canopy.
Will the pole slip while I am cutting?
A patent pending double-locking mechanism holds the pole at the length you set, and the patent pending pole shape helps you stay in control.
Is it covered by a warranty?
Yes. It is covered by the Woodland lifetime warranty for the original purchaser, when bought from Woodland or an authorized retailer.

Pro Level Pruner
This pruner is easy to use, the blade cuts like butter through even the thicker branches quickly, with little effort. The small lopper is easy to use and easy to switch back and forth when cutting different sizes of branches in one go. The handle is sturdy and makes handling, even at the max length easy to control and use. Highly recommend this to others, can't wait to try other Woodland Tools products.

A Great pruner at an awesome price
Very satisfied with this pruner, Easy to extend and retract, and cut branches without an issue. Dead branches require a little bit more effort to cut and the pruner has not wedged or bound up on a branch so far.

14" Heavy Duty Tree Pruner
So far I'm ok with the performance. I've used it once and it performed to expectations. I do use this quiet a bit so I will follow-up with a new assessment following future uses.
